Inside the beautiful tuff quarries, discover Cala Rossa, one of Favignana’s most beautiful and famous coves.
You will surely have heard of the crystalline sea of the island, Cala Rossa is the perfect example.
A small beach has appeared recently, between the inlets created by the rocks, making the permanence in the cove even more convenient.
It can be reached by boat or by bikes.
According to the legend, Cala Rossa takes its name from the blood shed by the Carthaginians defeated by the Romans during the decisive battle of the first Punic war in 241 BC.
